Be a Community Builder and support the NEW library building!!!
All registered voters in Coolbaugh Township and Mount Pocono Borough are eligible to vote on the April 22, 2008 Primary Election Ballot for one mill to pay for the new library building. The library needs your support to pay for the new facility with funds dedicated completely to the new building to cover the cost of construction.
If you live in Coolbaugh Township or Mount Pocono Borough, and are not registered to vote, you have until March 24, 2008 to get your registration forms to the County office in Stroudsburg to be eligible to vote in the Primary Election. Please ask the library for help! We have tons of voter registration forms here and will answer all your questions! WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!!!

About The New Pocono Mountain Public Library
Located on the lawn of the Coolbaugh Township Municipal Complex, on Route 611

The Library recognzied for a number of years the need for a new facility. Many years of hard work and planning have gone into this great new library facility. Please click here to view a copy of the "Pocono Mountain Public Library Building Program Report - Executive Summary" dated June 25, 2006 by Rich Bowra, Library Building Consultant. This document outlines and explains the library's need for a new facility and the justification for the plans we designed.
Please contact the Library Director, Ann Shincovich, if you have any questions or comments about PMPL's new library building project. The Library Board of Trustees and the Director are very proud of the building we have planned for the community, and we hope to create excitement for our patrons who themselves recognized the need for an expanded facility.
