PMPL provides the Adults in the Arts program because we believe that adults deserve exposure to arts and crafts in an open and friendly environment. Beginning in 2010, the library has significantly reduced funding for our Adult art programs. But we will try and present fun, informative, and low cost arts, crafts and music programs to our loyal patrons. Call the library or visit the website for more information on upcoming programs! Come and join us soon!
If you are a local artist or musician and would like to sponsor or instruct a program at the library for NO FEE, please contact the library. We do have access to some supplies from prior years and a nominal supply budget. If you would like the opportunity to reach out to the community and put some volunteer activities on your resume, we are more than happy to oblige. Call the Library Director, Ann Shincovich, if you are interested in instructing the arts at the library. 894-8860.
Since 2005, our programs included the following talented local artists: June Schott (BWS), Liz Pemberton, Jill Elizabeth of Liztech Jewelry, Carmona, Laura Goss, Lois Kirkwood, Dan Ferguson, Peter Salmon, Rod Cameron, Mary Beth Gower, Daryl Speicher, Andrea Rimberg, Cherie Morris & Jill Gleeson-Doherty, just to name a few!
All our Adults in the Arts programs require registration. We maintain a wait list for popular events.
Please call the library if you have any questions @ 570-894-8860.
